I have owned A Flair For Writing, a professional writing/editing service, for over 20 years. During this time, I have worked as a feature writer, resume writer and instructor, copywriter, and editor. My background includes working as a staff writer for South Shore News, Mariner Publications, and the South Shore Baby Journal. I also freelanced for local, national, and international publications. Most recently, I have been published on the Internet and for a trade magazine. I was listed in the Marquis Who’s Who of American Woman, 2007 – 2008 and have been approved for inclusion in the upcoming Who’s Who in the World, 2009. In addition, during the past year, I have served on the board for the South Shore Ad Club and volunteered as Marketing Coordinator, in charge of creative services. In 2007, I was hired by an entertainer to edit her book. A year later, AG Press, located in Townsend, MA, hired me as a contracted editor. During 2008, I edited 4 books that were published and was promoted to Senior Editor/Copartner. I enjoy the work immensely, and I would like to work with more authors and do more editing. My goal is to become a full-time editor while continuing to offer my writing services.
